I am requesting your advice regarding the best way to proceed for my wife's immigration application

The areas I need help on

under what category do I apply when my visa expires in December ?

Does this mean my wife can only apply for ILR counting 10 years from 07 April 2019 (date of application)??

Since then, she has passed her Life in the UK test

She is studying to improve her speaking so she can pass the Trinity College speaking B1 exam.

If possible, I post the letter I got from the home office without my personal details if that helps

My wife first entered the UK in 2013 Jan and we have two children one UK born and the other Indian born but with a British Passport.

Any help or advice be much appreciated.

Your wife can get ILR under the long residence after living here lawfully and continuously for 10 years anyway.
If she switches to the 10-year family route, the earliest she can apply for ILR will be under long residence (assuming such path to ILR still exists in 2023).

I think they should have given her an opportunity to pass the required test before refusing or putting her on the ten year path.
