ILR without kids and refund of Super priority

Hi,
I applied ILR last month and am waiting Biomatric day.
1.My kids born in the UK and they are on T2 dependent of mine.
I made my application only included my wife Since I got to know that I don't need to include my kids to ILR so that I can apply for citizenship behalf of them just right after I get ILR. Should I make a letter to clarify this situation for them?
But just want to clarify about this information if it is correct.
2. I have a question about refund of super priority scheme.
I got to know that they refund the super priority fee and priority fee if they fail to give answer in time.What if they need some clarification about some information for example they want to know about the reason why the children have not been added in the application etc, so they gave answer after the promised time? Do they still refund the fees?
