Do I need to include my child in the ILR application?

My daughter was born in September 2020 (in the UK) and I am able to apply for ILR from mid-August 2021. Currently my daughter has no passport from my home country or visa in the UK (We have not gone out of the UK since she was born). So my questions are:
1. Is it fine for my child to be in the UK without a visa?
2. When I apply for my ILR do I need to include my daughter? Or can I keep her out of the application and apply straight for her British passport once my ILR is successful? Will the fact I dont include her have a negative impact my ILR application?

1.
Fine. However, consider getting adequate health insurance cover for child.
2. No need for child to apply for leave. Child is
entitled to register directly after a parent is granted ILR.

Thank you for the response.
Just some follow up questions if you don't mind.
1. Why would I need health insurance cover?
2. So if I don't mention anything about my daughter while I apply for my ILR that would not be seen as hiding information?

1. You only get free NHS for your child for the first 3 months after birth if they don't apply or have a valid visa. After that you can be charged at 150% cost.
2. No.

Thank you very much for the response. Really appreciate it.
Just for clarity, the charges to NHS apply for even like GP appointments etc.? And how would I know I need to pay? Because my daughter has had like a couple of follow up appointments but have not heard about any charges or anything.
Thanks for responding!

Because neither of the parent were settled in UK when the child was born.

Why is the UK born child not automatically British citizen?
Because the child was born before either parent obtained ilr. A child is only automatically British if born to a parent holding ilr or a British parent. This has been the case since January 1983.
