Hello

I'm helping someone complete their SET(M) application which is due in May. Can someone please advise what documents are required. We know the following -

Life in the UK Test
B1 English Test

Not sure about these -
Bank Statements ??
Pay slips ??
Birth Certificate ??
Passport copies of both spouse and applicant ??

Please could you tell/confirm to us what else will be required to show.

The family route has a specific financial requirement to be met.
This guide tells you what exactly must be sent: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... .0-ext.pdf

Passports, BRPs, LIUK, English language certificate, etc are the extras

I am helping a friend with this Indefinite Leave to Remain application (SET M).

He arrived in the UK in August 2016 and I know he can apply for ILR this year August 2021. Due to financial issues he would like to delay his application for ILR

His BRP expiry date says May 2022. Can he apply for ILR anytime before this date, or must be apply when he hits 5 years stay in the UK

Thanks

No problem, providing your friend applies before his current BRP expires.
