Hello,

My current UK journey is below. Can I somehow combine the below to obtain ILR/Citizenship before achieving full 5 years on Tier 2?
  • Tier 1 (dependant) - 3 years
  • (switch with no gap)
  • Tier 2 General (main applicant) - 3.5 years
Thanks!

No you cannot. You need 5 years on Tier 2 General before you can apply for ILR.

You cannot combine Tier 1 dependent time with Tier 2 General main visa time to make up 5 years for ILR.

You can also only apply for citizenship after you have held ILR for 12 months (unless you are married to a British citizen at the time you have ILR, then you can apply immediately).

There is no loophole unfortunately.
