With due respect to all members may I please request a Qualified Immigration Personal for an answer to the below.

Addressing the ambiguity and greyness surrounding the Question : ''Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds?"

The above question appears in SET (O) online application form in the Finance section. The options are Yes and No.

"Person A" has had Indefinite Leave To Remain (ILR) for 2.5 years and has claimed Child Benefit". "Person A" is also employed.

And now the spouse i.e "Person B" is applying to settle after living 7.5 years legally and lawfully in the UK as PBS Dependent and above all completing the 5 years qualifying period required for settlement. Person B is also in full time employment.

Does "Person A" become part of "Person B" ILR application?

Which of the 2 options mentioned in the 1st para should Person B select for its application.

Yours faithfully,
Amar

Person A is NOT part of the application, so the answer to the question is NO.

Thank you So much CR001. I was so hoping the reply came from you.
ambiguity in UKVI language is very frustrating.. I am going to challenge the solicitor representing "Person B" and working on her case to make select no to the question.

Thank once again.
