I need help on one query regarding Tier 2 dependent ILR application.
I got ILR last week and I’m planning to apply ILR for my wife who has tier 2 dependent visa. Below her visa is dates
Visa start date: 26/8/2016
Uk entry date: 1/9/2016
Visa expiry date: 18/7/2021

She will be completing her 5 years on 30 July 2021
(26/8/2016 - 28 days). But her visa going to expire before. She has 12 days shortage to eligible for her ILR

1) should I apply ILR for her or apply tier 2 dependent extension?
2) she went indian in December 2019 and came back in Uk sept 2020z got stuck in India because of this covid situation. For this particular situation what should I do?

Can some please give me advice on this please ??

The issue may be the length of time your wife was absent from the UK. Others may know whether the Case Worker is able to use discretion in the light of COVID travel restrictions.

As I mentioned,she has shortage of 12 days after 5 years - 28 days. Is that fine if we apply dependent ILR direct

Experts... can you please let me know the best way in my situation? I want to apply for it urgently.
