Applying for ILR without updating Police Registration

Hi all,
I've arranged an appointment in October with OVRO to update my police registration after moving homes. However I was planning to submit an ILR application in July. Elsewhere on this forum I've read that in such cases a person should apply for ILR first and enclose a cover letter explaining why PRC cannot be updated at the moment.

In my case the certificate is also missing a few entries in the last couple of years, would you still advise to submit ILR application before updating it? Can anyone share an example of such cover letter they used?

Thanks!

If you have a photocopy that should work, also having a photocopy not updated should help with cover letter mentioning the reason for not updating it ( hopefully it's covid and police centres were closing registration )

Unfortunately I am missing two entries before the COVID lockdowns. This is simply because I forgot to update the PRC.
Is there a way to fix this or at least limit the impact on the application itself?

Minor issue. Add a covering letter

Got it, thanks for replying.
Do you have a template/example cover letter for late police registrations? What should I mention there?

There is no template. Simple letter outlining the facts as it affects your person and application particularly why OVRO/Police not updated, impact of covid-19 and or any other personal circumstances that hindered you from doing the update.

ILR - Required Docs + Absences Letter

Hi All,

Just doing some final checks before submitting the documents, would you please be able to help with a couple of questions? I am going via 5 years on Tier 2 General

1. Is it correct that no proof of address (e.g. bills/council tax/mortgage statements) are required ? I cannot see anything related to that in the official checklist nor could I find any topics on the forum which would mention this.

2. Neither of my 2 employees agreed to provide detailed absence periods as they state it's outside of their referencing policy
I am planning to attach a table detailing dates of absences/reasons, etc. Is there anything else I could provide, such as cover letter or documents proving my reasons for travel to improve my application?

Thank you!

1. No such evidence is required
2. No such letter is expected. indefinite-leave-to-remain/tier-2-ilr-e ... l#p2019973
