Hi,

I submitted my application and did my biometrics on 13th May 21 using the standard route under the guidance that it typically takes 6-8 weeks to process. After looking at the actual processing times thread linked however it seems closer to 4-5 months indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-timeline ... -2475.html

I now am required to travel for work in late August and September and are worried it won't be processed in time. I have a few questions,

- Can I pay £500 to change my application to priority?
- What is the best number to contact UKVI to ask on the status of my application?
- Has anyone had any success in getting them to look at it if you ring/contact them about it?

No, you cannot change to priority after applying and enrolling biometrics.

Is it worth trying to contact UKVI directly to see if they can review it earlier? Has anyone heard of or had any success doing this for similar applications?

Not heard of it being reviewed earlier under stated circumstances.
