ILR SET-M or SET-LR?

Hi,

My wife came here in November 2011 on a 2 year route partner visa. Then we had to move to 10 year route because we didn't satisfy the language requirement at the time and now we've completed 10 year in the UK. Do we apply for SET-LR or SET-M now?

We're confused because it says on Set LR web page:
"If you are the spouse or partner of someone who is settled and currently living in the UK and you have completed the relevant period of continuous leave in the UK using the 'Family Route', you cannot use this form."

Then when we try to start a Set-M application it only has options for 2 year or 5 year route. Nothing for 10 year!

We've now started a Set-LR application despite what it says on the web page but it would be great to hear from someone that they've been in a similar situation.

Thanks in advance!!

Irfan

If she has 10 years legal residence and no period of overstay, she can apply on form SET LR.

Hi, yes, she's been granted 30-month extensions since then. 10 years of legal residence and only short holidays during this period so no overstay. Thank you!
