Hi Everyone,

I will be applying for my wife ILR next year. My wife current visa expires on 5th May 2022 and it is 5 year route.

My wife arrived first on 5th February 2017.
Stayed out of UK for 4 month holidays in 2018. No absence limit on spouse route so no effect.
2nd extension is expiring on 5th may 2022.

60 months or 5 years time completes on 5th February.

Can I apply for my wife ILR based on 60months/5 year time bases or do I have to wait till mid-April 2022 (28 days before expiry date) to apply for my wife ILR?
Assuming document requirement for ILR is same as for 2nd FLR? English language test result at level B1, LIUK

Can someone please advise me on above? 28 days before reaching or completing 5years in the UK.

is it 28 days before visa expiry date or 28 days before reaching 5 years.

if it is 28 days before visa expiry date then I can apply after 5th Feb after reaching 5 years?
