Settlement (ILR)- tier2 - application date

Hi everyone. I am applying for my Settlement through my work visa tier 2. I got a bit confused with the following question in the application form:

A. When did you first enter the UK?
(This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started)[/b]

I came to UK in September 2012 in student visa tier 4 and In October 2016 I changed my visa to tier 2 work visa. My ILR application is based on my 5years work visa which I completed on October 2021.

My question is which date should I put ?
The date when I first entered The UK which is September 2012 or
the date I want my application to start for my ILR -tier 2 application which is October 2016.

Secondly, other question in the application form includes

B. Since you first entered the UK, had you have any absences from the UK?

I have travelled my home country in Feb2016 for very short time.

My question is, if I put the date in the above question as October 2016, do I need to mention my travel outside UK on February 2016?

Thanks in advance

The date is not important. Either date should be fine. You should declare all absences in the last 5 years

ILR- dependent application under tier 2

Hi everyone!
My husband and I came together in this country and he has been my dependent since the start. He is my dependent under tier 2 visa for 5years complete.
My question is, I am applying for my IRL under tier 2 criteria. If my husband apply for his IRL as my dependent will be granted ILR directly or will he only get visa to remain which needs to be renewed for 5 years and only then he can apply for his ILR.

My second question is, if I add him as my dependent in my application, will that be enough or I need to apply his separate as dependent of tier 2 and pay separate fees, to apply for his ILR.

Thank you in advance.

If you both meet the requirements for ILR, then you apply on one form. You as the main applicant and add him as dependent.

The fees are payable per person applying, £2389 x 2 if two if you apply. Adding hum to your application will calculate the fee automatically

Bank statement for Ilr -tier 2 application

Hi everyone!

I need to provide all the bank statements during my maternity absence, with one month prior to start of my maternity to show my salary matches my payslips. I start my maternity on 4 Jan 2021 till 3 Jan 2022. I am planning to apply somewhat next week that is on 22 December 2021.

So my question is, I need a bank statements dated from 1 Dec 2020 till Dec 2021 (till date). Is that correct?

And can I print my bank statements online and show that as an evidence. Or do I need to order it from bank itself and need a bank stamp and all?
Its gonna take time if I order from bank. They said 5 working days.

Kind regards,

Hi, I am bit confused on the form (0) documents requirement section.

First they have asked to provide my current Biometric Residence Permit and again asked for evidence of applicant’s immigration status in the UK.

What do I need to provide for the evidence of applicant’s immigration status in the UK?

Kind regards,

Topics merged!! It is not necessary to start a new topic each time you have a question. Keep all your questions in ONE topic, this one!

It is your BRP card only that you need for each applicant.

There is one question in a form (0) I am confused.

Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth ?

Do I need to put that I live in nepal since birth?

Kind regards
