SET(O), Is police registration certificate required for dependant?

Hi Everyone
I am applying ILR from TIER 2 General visa, when reviewing the required documents, it requires my (the main applicant) police registration certificate. But why it does not mention my wife's (the dependent) police registration certificate? I wondered if the certificate is not needed for a dependent, why the dependent is asked to register with the police?

Hi All
I am applying ILR from TIER 2 General visa, I am the main applicant, my wife and child are the dependents. The document checklist says I need to sign the
Consent form
Code: Select all
Declaration signed by Mr xxxx to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
I understand I need to sign the PART 1: Consent for the Home Office to verify application information.
My questions:
1) Does my wife and/or child need to sign the PART 1?
The checklist only have asked me to sign it. Considering they are also the applicant, so I am not sure if it's needed.
2) Do I need to sign the PART 2: Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information?
I provided the bank statement with only my name on it. For the evidence of cohabitation, I supplied some letters addressed to me and my wife. So does my wife need to sign PART 2?

I came up with another questions when reviewing the documents.
3) I will apply ILR with my wife and daughter. But the document checklist only have listed My current BRP card, but has not mentioned BRP cards for my wife and daughter. Do I need to submit their BRP altogether?
4) Can I use a bank statement downloaded from online banking? I saw other treads mentioned the statement needs to be stamped with bank letterhead, but I didn't see this requirement when filling the ILR application form. I wondered what is the exact requirement for the bank statement?

I have had the same problem. Don't rely too much on the document list. Provide as much as documents you can provide. This is important because if your ILR aplication is refused then you will not be able to provide additional documents in admin review. Therefore, play the game strategically. Upload whatever you have in your hands. is it difficult to scan your wife and daughter's BRP, police reg forms? Just upload them as well. I had the stamped bank statements from the branch but I have friends who just uploaded electronic ones and they haven't had any issues.

You sign Part 1 and your wife part 2. If you have someone else who support you financially ask them to sign Part 3.

No, you have to sign only Part 1. Applicant is yourself and your wife and daughter are your dependants.

Late to report change of situations

Hi Everyone
I am applying for ILR together with my wife and daughter, now in the process of uploading all supporting documents.
I reviewed my documents, and found that I made 2 mistakes:
1. I reported the change of address to the police late for 1.5 year, I simply have forgotten this...
2. I renewed the passport, but didn't realize that this also need to be reported to the police. It's 0.5 year late...
Should I mention this in the cover letter and say anything? Will the mistakes cause my application been refused?

This is not so difficult. If you still have time, go to the nearist police station and get them approved. No need to take an appointment. Though, shouln't be a problem. During Covid situation police reg updates are not important
