Hi there,
I wonder what the employer's duty is after the employee(myself) received ILR status.
This regards informing the Home office, adjusting detail in the system or perhaps cancelling the sponsorship? etc.

FYI, I HAD a skilled worker visa last until March 2023.

The employer has no duty for any of that. Now that you have ILR you are more or less having no limitations/restrictions on immigration control, only inform employer that you now do have ILR.
The HO has your records as you progressed through the Immigration process which culminated in your ILR, should there be any specific requirements you will be asked.

You are required to provide your employer with your new BRP card so that they can update their system of your right to work.

They have to withdraw sponsorship on the SMS system indicating you have switch to another immigration category.

Just inform your employer and that is all you need to do. Your new immigration status is ILR. Remember that ILR holders are still subject to immigration control and only will be re-admitted to the UK, subject to the returning resident rules.
