Late to report change of situations

Hi, I'm in the similar situation and have been very worried, please anyone could give some advice

I'm currently under application of ILR, I submitted application in Dec.2021 and am attending biometric appointment this week. When I reviewed documents before uploading I've just realized I totally forgot to update my new passport (I renewed it 5 months ago) on PRC. Would it be too late to book appointment from OVRC? My concern is my visa has expired early this month (but I've submitted in time ILR application before that), would it be a problem when I book appointment to report to police? Even though I manage to book an appointment it is still a late registration of, should I mention this in cover letter? Many thanks!

Add a cover letter explaining that you cannot update your PRC. That is a minor issue and does not affect anything.

Thanks for your reply and advice! Do you suggest I also attach a copy of the appointment email from OVRO? or just simply mention I've made an appointment to update it in cover letter? I just don't want to make it complicated.

I've read some similar cases but it seems that they all have valid visa when realising PRC is out of date so to make a late report of change of circumstances. My biometric card has expired now, would it be an issue when I make appointment or attend the appointment with OVRO? Many thanks.

As I said it does not matter. As far as I know, OVRO appointments are now not available for at least several months so I would ignore this. After getting ILR, there is no need to deal with them at all
