ILR application made - need to travel ASAP

Hello
I submitted my ILR opting for priority service but am now not finding an appointment for 2 weeks. I need to travel urgently so have a few queries -
1) I'm prepared to travel for the appointment - is there a chance that earlier appointments will be released?
2) Am I correct in thinking that if I leave the country before my appointment my visa application will be cancelled?
3) As soon as I receive the decision from the HO (hopefully positive) could I leave the country before receiving the BRP and my wife could wait in the UK to receive that and bring it to me in order to return to the UK?

Thank you

1) I'm prepared to travel for the appointment - is there a chance that earlier appointments will be released? No one can assure you of this on this platform
2) Am I correct in thinking that if I leave the country before my appointment my visa application will be cancelled? Do you have an appointment booked already.
3) As soon as I receive the decision from the HO (hopefully positive) could I leave the country before receiving the BRP and my wife could wait in the UK to receive that and bring it to me in order to return to the UK? You can, however do note that you will require this for the airline to allow you board for return. There could be delays in delivery of BRP so weigh your options carefully.

Thank you

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I have not booked the appointment yet. I have submitted my application online. I was hoping I could travel before the appointment but don't want to risk the application being cancelled.
I could wait to return to the UK until I received the BRP (once my wife has travelled with it), but would I need to show it to the airline when I left the UK? I'd rather not do this but just looking at the options I may have.

Thank you

You don't need to show BRP at point of departure however the airline will require a valid brp showing your legitimacy yo be in UK to allow you board the plane for your return (not sure if any ILR sticker is placed in passport anymore)
