ILR and pregnancy/delivery around the same time!

Hello Admins and Experts,

*** First and foremost, apologies  if I am posting this in the wrong channel. Please advise if I have and I will immediately remove this post ***

I am due to apply for my ILR around mid-Aug. I am also expecting my 2nd child around the same time in the last week of Aug / 1st week of Sept. The doctors can only suggest an expected due date but since the exact due date of the baby cannot be predicted, here are my doubts:

1. How does my situation affect my ILR/biometric appointment steps? Let's say if I have scheduled the biometric appointment for a particular date, and if I deliver my baby on or around that date, I will be unable to leave the baby and hospital for the ILR appointment. :?
2. Am I able to postpone my ILR appointment dates after I have scheduled it?
3. How much of a delay can I have between fee payment and biometrics appointment date? I cannot push the biometric date a lot since my Tier 2 dependent husband BRP (his timer got reset due to visa status change) expires by Sept 2022 :!: and he needs to put in his Tier 2 dependent extension application on the back of my ILR application.
4. Am I able to excuse myself from a in-person appointment due to my pregnancy?

One more related question:
5. Assuming the baby will be born after the ILR application (payment date), will I need to apply for its ILR dependent status or will it be a UK passport for the baby?

Appreciate your responses in advance! :)

3. How much of a delay can I have between fee payment and biometrics appointment date? Up to 45days I cannot push the biometric date a lot since my Tier 2 dependent husband BRP (his timer got reset due to visa status change) expires by Sept 2022 :!: and he needs to put in his Tier 2 dependent extension application on the back of my ILR application.

One more related question:
5. Assuming the baby will be born after the ILR application (payment date), will I need to apply for its ILR dependent status or will it be a UK passport for the baby? Register the child since one parent has ILR at that point.

Appreciate your responses in advance! :)

The date of application is irrelevant for the purpose of the child acquiring British citizenship.

If child is born in the UK before the date of grant of ILR, you will need to register the child as a British citizen on Form MN1 at a cost of ~£1000+. The child can apply for a British passport after it has been issued a registration certificate.

If child is born in the UK after the date of grant of ILR, the child would automatically be a British citizen and you can apply directly for the child's British passport with proof of the child's birth in the UK (birth certificate) and proof that one parent held ILR on the date of birth of the child (your ILR BRP).
