Hello Experts,

I have questions regarding when I can apply for ILR

MY case History is below

Since I've held multiple visas during my tenure in UK, I would like to highlight them in 4 key stages.

Stage 1 - April 2015 to April 2016 >> Came to UK in April 2015, stayed in UK with Tier 2 ICT short term visa. Departed from UK to India in April 2016 due to the near completion of ICT short term visa. ICT Tier 2 short term visa validity from April 2015 to April 2016.
Stage 2 - May 2016 to May 2019 >> Came back to UK from India on ICT long term visa.Renewed it multiple times while living in UK and have lived in UK on this visa most of the time. While being in UK on this ICT long term visa got married to British citizen and switched to Spouse/Partner visa.
Stage 3 - May 2019 to Jan 2022 >>On spouse/Partner visa (my partner is British citizen). Renewed this visa once during this period while living in UK.
Stage 4: Jan 2022 to present >>On Tier 2 General visa.(Switched to Tier 2 General visa from spouse/Partner visa in Jan 2022) .



My Questions
When can I apply for ILR?

Not sure why you switched away from Spouse/CP visa. You reset the clock by doing that. From my perspective, it seems you're on the 10year route currently.

If you haven't had extended leave/absence from the UK without a valid visa. The 2025 seems like the earliest on SET LR.

I'll let the more experienced moderators chip in.

April 2025 is the earliest you can apply for ilr based on 10 years long residence if you meet all the requirements.
