ILR for PBS Dependant Tier-1 General Route

Hi all,

I am Applying for my partner ILR, she is on PBS Dependant ATM, my route was Tier 1 General and I am currently on ILR .

I believe the application form should be SET(O). But what should be the category?

I see:

Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain.

1. Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants
2. Tier 1 migrant
3. Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant
4. Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson
5. Bereaved partner
6. Representative of an overseas business
7. Retired person of independent means
8. UK ancestry
9. Global talent
10. Any other employment
11.Afghan Resettlement
12.Other purposes or reasons not covered by other application form

Question1: Should it be Option 1 or Option 2 ?

Question 2: Also if you can guide me on what documents i need to submit, i would be grateful.

Question 3: I am most concerned about financial requirement documents as we operate as Limited company and take a **combined** salary of £23,500 (which i read was sufficient as it is above £18600). Do we still need to show dividend vouchers, invoices, business bank statements , company registraion certificate, vat certificate, VAT filings for last 3 years, CT600 for last 2 years, UnAudited account for last 2 years, Accountant letter?

Appreciate your guidance.

Thanks
Climes

Q1. It is option 1, tier 1 dependent.

Q2. The checklist tells you what you need and you also need 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both your names.

Q3. There is NO financial requirement.

Thanks CR001.

I am now stuck on these questions:

1. Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people? (Required)

>> I (husband) am the sponsor of my Wife (The applicant). CR001 you mentioned above there was no financial requirement. So why are they asking for bank statements? We have a joint bank account which has a some cash in it (£1000) for many years (un-used and un-touched).
a. Do we show statements of this dormant account or do we show statements of our individual bank
accounts?
b. How much minimum amount does home office need to see in our individual accounts?
c. Do they need bank statements from both me ( the sponsor) and my wife(the applicant)? OR any one
person's bank statement would suffice?

d. We can also provide water bills in our joint names And electricity and gas bills in my wife's name OR
Council Tax in my wife's name. So my question is: what utility bills should we show? The one in joint
names or the ones that are on individual name?

2. Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support?
>>> We are not taking any financial support from outside. Its just my income (salary 11500 annual and i dont intend to show dividends but then my annual income will be below £18600 ). Should we show salary slips from both me and my wife? As that will take our combines Salary income to £23000.00

Thanks for your help! Much appreciated.

CR001 has answered you that financial requirements is not part of this.

1. This relates to cohabitation evidence in your case so answer correctly.

2. No or Not Applicable

And the answer for 2. is NO as i understand from your post :: Thanks

Please can you also help me with answers for points a, b, c and d?

Many thanks

1. Question asks if you hold/register the account(s) whose statements or bill you are submitting with other persons i.e. joint account so answer as appropriate.

a. It's your choice to use it or not
b. Bank balances not required so far you are not using savings to meet financial requirements
c. If one person's income source especially the applicants meets up then no need to show for other.
d. If joint name you need 6, if individual names you need 12 pieces of cohabitation evidence or correspondence. You can also mix and match.

I would be really grateful, if someone can give a list of documents that i need to provide for each category for PBS Dependant ILR application under Tier-1 General route. When CR001 said there is no financial requirement i took it that i dont have to provide and bank statements to show my income.

A complete list with category would be very useful. On gov.uk website i couldnt find a clean list and i wasted lot of time filling in Set M form! Atleast for Set M form there was a clear list of documents under each category that Home Office is looking for. But i couldnt find such list for Set (O) pbs dependent Tier 1 general.

Thanks again.

While filling in the form i cam across following list of documents that were asked by the home office website to be provided:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mandatory documents:
    1. The passport issued by India for Mrs Susie

    Other documents
      2. Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on Mr Climes Ashes for joint accounts or third party support
        3. The official transcript or letter for Mrs Susie to prove the level of English language required
          4. Evidence of Mrs Susie's immigration status in the UK
            5. Declaration signed by Mr Climes Ashes to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
              6. Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK AND confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched
                7. Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mrs Susie
                  8. All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK
                  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                  My Questions are:
                  1. It did not ask any co-habitation proofs. Is it needed?
                  2. It did not ask any accommodation related documents. Is it needed?
                  3. It did not ask any financial situation related documents. Is it needed?
3.a. If yes to point 3 then what document Should Mrs Susie provide?
3.b. If yes to point 3 then for what period-range the document should be provided?
3.c. If yes to point 3 then what should be the minimum bank balance of Mrs Susie that is needed to be
                  shown?
                  4. It did not ask any relationship related documents like Marriage certificate. Is it needed?
                  5. What other documents should i provide other than those requested under "Mandatory" and "Other" categories

                  Hi,

I am providing my Sponsor's bank statements for financial proof.

                  1. Do bank statements need to be stamped by the bank LIKE i had to do in previous years when it was not digital? Or can i simply upload the online pdf statements that barclays emails my sponsor every month?

                  2. For how many months do i need to provide the bank statements of my Sponsor 3, 6 or 12 months?

                  Thanks
