ILR Spouse Visa - Income Requirement

Hi guys,
I hope you can help.
I am in the same scenario as the original poster, I meet the financial requirements on my own and have been through the renewal process without interview to this point.

During the Pandemic my partner rented a 2nd space in order to free up room for myself and our flatmates who work from home regularly. When he was made redundant he claimed universal credit and used this address as I have no recourse to public funds and he was advised it would complicate the application by the job centre. He is no longer on UC but I was wondering whether this 2nd address and the claim there would be grounds for interview, or if this would jeopardise my application or speed of application.

I have a next day decision date and am submitting documents and am not sure what to mention in a cover letter and what is not relevant. The main application asks if our flat is his main address to which the answer is yes.

Hope you can help

An interview is very rare and quite unlikely. Your are overthinking this

Hey thanks for your reply.

Would your advise be to include information of the 2nd address and UC on a cover letter, or don't add anything they have not asked for additionally? I am worried that if I don't include it, they could see it as grounds for refusal or deceit.

Thank you

There are no grounds for refusal. Again, do not assume things
