Hi,

I am on a tier 2 visa. My BRP was issued on 4 Aug 2017 and it will expire on 1 Aug 2022 but the decision letter was dated on 1 Aug 2017. During my visa application, I was in the UK on a tier 4 visa

Since my BRP shows 3 days less than 5 years, am I eligible to apply for ILR or I should apply for a skill worker visa extension.

May I ask you please help me in this matter.

Thanks

You can apply 28 days before, if you meet all other requirements.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 2.0ext.pdf
Applicants can submit a settlement application up to 28 days before they would
reach the end of the specified period.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Can you also please let me know that I should consider 1st Aug or 4th Aug for 28 days calculation.
