Fast track service from within the UK

Has anybody been successful in obtaining the fast track service from within the UK? Have spoken to UKVI and they said that their or a limited number of fast track appointments available each day. Their suggestion was to ‘keep trying’ and that limited fast track options ‘might’ be released at midnight each day…
