Dear everyone,
I have been filling Set(M) form for spouse visa 5 year route. I am doing two jobs. First job started 3 years ago and second job started 8 months ago. I can fulfill £18600 requirement with two jobs.
The question is that.. when i fill the first job details i need to choose one option, 1. Earning same amount continuously below financial requirement or 2. Earning same amount continuously above financial requirement.

QUESTION 1.
I chose option two but then it asks about 12 months pay slips and same as second job, i.e. 12 months payslips, although i started that 8 months ago.. what shall i do, i am earning £14800 from first job and £9000 from second job, they both are below financial requirement.

QUESTION 2.
There is another question in the form, i.e. Are you Director of any Limited Company.
I made a company a year ago to start some business with another friend, but due to some circumstances it is still dormant and we are not trading, i don't have any financial of that company, what shall i answer? If i answer yes, a d then could not provide evidence then my visa would be delayed or rejected due to lack of documents, and if i say No, then it would be considered False Statement, i am just confused.. please help me in this regards.

Thanks in advance.

i 'd imagine, since you are submitting two jobs, the way it would work is

let say you are submitting your application on 1stt week of june and you have to show 12 months of payslip.

so it would be a period 1/05/2021 - 31/5/2022 which shows you have met the threshold of £18600
( a combination of both the jobs)

along with letters from both the companies mentioned the required details.

individually they are below the threshold ( 14800 and 9000) however for the period of last 12 months when you submit the application, do they both meet the threshold ?

ffor eg period 01052021 - 31052022 - total equals or more than 18600 ?

Category A is used when you meet the salary requirement from your current employer. If you have multiple employers and you do not meet the requirement from each of them on their own, then you will be assessed under Catagory B and hence need to provide 12 months of payslips and other evidence.

See the guide: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... rement.pdf

The question 'Are you Director of any Limited Company' should only be answered Yes if you want to use such a position to meet the financial requirements. Otherwise, say No. Remember this is not full disclosure. The online form just wants to figure out your circumstances

Thanx Zimba for reply.. but i am more confused now.. The Category B only talks when you are doing a job less than 6 months, thats why they ask about 12 month income, if an applicant earned more than 18600 in the last 12 months and now his salary is also meeting the threshold than visa is approved. But in my case both jobs are more than 6 months, so the Category A should be applicable?!

Looking forward for your response please.

Category B is also when you do not meet the requirements, even if you held the jobs for more than 6 months.
