Hello all,

I am new to this group and i need help to confirm whether i am eligible to apply for ILR now.

I got married back in 2017 and arrived in Uk on first week of August through Set (M) spouse of a British citizen.

My first visa was for 30 months and got expired in april2020 and at that time I applied for extension which got approved in October 2020 & i have now got visa till april 2023.

I am completing 5 years on first week of august so should I apply for ILR now or do i need to wait till april 2023 until my current leave expires and then I should apply 28 days before .
From what i can see is that i can apply now as i have legally completed 5 years on spouse visa of but just want confirmation pls.

Can one of the experts pls take few minutes to reply so i can proceed with my ILR

Eligible to apply 28days before completing 5years in UK counting from the date of entering UK on initial spouse visa.
