Hi all,

Doing the SET M application for ILR for my wife after 5 years stay on spouse visa.

We have got a message that we need to use the UKVCAS app to verify identity and upload documents - has anyone else done this? So there is no need for a physical appointment?

Also, does this mean we don't actually have to give her BRP and original passport etc to UKVI and can just keep it?

Will be great to know if someone knows and any tips / guidance / insights from experience.

It's the app or an appointment, not both. Simply use the app as directed.

Original documents are not sent to ukvi and this has been the case since novemver 2018.

sorry one more question - do we need to submit photos of all pages of the original passport? Don't remember doing this ever before.

Scan and upload all pages
