Applying ILR by 5 yrs route spouse visa, confused the starting first day

Hi all,
On 23th August 2017, I used the Premium service cost £800, made the decision on the same day (in Croydon, the same day premium service was available in 2017). (but in 2022, it changed to 'To get a decision by the end of the NEXT working day')
I had the letter from the home office, the title is 'Grant of leave to remain five-year partner route'. Letter date is 23 August 2017.
The letter shows 'on 23 August 2017 you submitted an application for limited leave to remain as a partner route, I am writing to inform you that you have been granted a period of 30 months ..........'
And then I received the BRP card shortly (in 2017, BRP making and delivery long delay), it shows PLACE AND DATE OF ISSUE 06-09-2017, VALID UNTIL 23-02-2020
In February 2020, I applied the second 2.5 yrs spouse visa.
Now it is closed to the 5 yrs end, we know 'The earliest you can apply is 28 days before you meet the requirements for the time you need to have lived in the UK. '
My question is: go back 5 years ago, which date is my first day of 5 yrs route.
If refer the home office letter, it should be 23/08/2017
If refer to the BRP, it should be 06/09/2017
which one is my legal first day of 5 years route? It is very important for me to make sure which day will be the earliest ILR application date.
Thank you.

It is the date of visa approval. BRP may have been issued on a later date

Hi all,
This is my first time DIY this month.
Applied for ILR route: Set(M) Spouse
Application type: Super priority
Date application sent: DAY1
My question:
At this step I will go to gov visa website to fill the online form. is that right?
Does that mean I will pay the fee in this step and choose the date of Biometric?
Docs uploaded to UKVACS date: DAY2
My question: I am confused about this step, when UKVACS will inform me to upload? How UKVACS will inform me? Can I upload docs on the same date of above date application sent?
Date Biometric: DAY3
How to choose the earliest date? Is it busy now, is it plenty available time slot?
Approval received: DAY4 Paid £800, so the decision will be made in 48 hours, since the date biometric, right?
Additionally, my bank statements are in paperless PDF format downloaded from Santander bank. Do I need to print it out by myself or do I need to order by post from the branch?
Thank you for your time.

Downloaded PDF documents can be uploaded directly without the need to print and scan again.
When you start the application online it will take you through, if any challenge ask questions on the forum.
