ILR application date and BRP expiry date

hi
I'm a little confused with the date I can start to apply ILR and BRP expiry given the changes on the rules.
I'm on Tier 2 General Visa under a company sponsorship back in 2017.

On my passport visa: UK Entry Clearance Valid from 19/09/17 to the 19/10/17
My Entry Stamp to UK 29/09/17

BRP Date of Issue 18/11/2020 (second one)
BRP Expiry date 12/8/2023

I read somewhere that "The maximum period of stay for Tier 2 (General) visas issued on or after 6 April 2011 is the lesser of 5 years and 14 days, or the time given on your certificate of sponsorship plus 1 month."

Is it correct to say that
1. My earliest ILR application is 19/09/22 - 28 days = 22/08/22
2. Since my BRP expiry date is 12/8/2023, does that mean I can stay in UK until 12/8/23 even though reaching the maximum 5 years and 14 days?

Thanks in advance

1. Yes
2. Your visa expiry is irrelevant for ILR. You will be eligible for ILR from the earliest date until the visa expiry

degree certificate in photocopy and NARIC for ILR

hi all
I have a degree certificate (photocopy) and the photocopy letter from NARIC with the reference number which was used to apply for T2 visa 5 years ago. Would these be sufficient to fit the documents requirement?
It said:
- The degree certificate to prove level of English language required
- Ecctis letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of degree in the UK and confirm the level of English to which the degree was taught or researched

I don't have the original university certificate with me in UK. Would it be a problem?

Many thanks.
Best Regards
K
