Hi,

I am sure this question might asked before just want to know when is the earliest I can apply - is it 28 days before the entry clearance granted or 28 days before I arrived in UK?

Example visa was granted in 15 April 2017 but entered in the UK 1 st May 2017.

It depends if you are applying based on 5 years (and what visa you hold) or 10 years long residence, different routes have different requirements

I am on Tier 2 visa 5 year route, so i can apply any time after 17 March 2022 ? Is that correct ?

Also do i need SET O form for my ILR application and for dependent I need set M ?

1. Yes.

2. Form Set O for all of you. Set M is for a completely difference visa category.

Depends on the circumstances, what visa and reason for refusal.

Hi CR,

The visa application was made based on private and family life in th UK and as usual response from the Home Office they didn't not find strong connection with the UK.

After the refusal they had successfully granted the tier 2 visa and visa extension was done successfully without any issue.

List of documents I need for ILR :

- Passport
- BRP
- Life in UK test result
- Proof of English language (IELTS from 2017 )
- Bank statement for 1 year
- Employment confirmation Letter from employer
- Address proof (from all previous address council tax)
- P60s for last 4 years
- Payslip ( Do I need all 5 yrs payslip?)
- Absence letter from Employer,

Is there anything else do I need?

- Bank statement for 1 year

Why are submitting a whole year?? You only need the most recent 1 month bank statement, fated on or before the date you apply online.

- Address proof (from all previous address council tax)
- P60s for last 4 years

Why are submitting these? They are NOT required. There is no rule that you have to prove address and income for 5 years.

- Payslip ( Do I need all 5 yrs payslip?)

You only need the most recent payslip corresponding to the bank statement.

Hi All,

I hope you are well.

Another question Period between the issue of entry clearance and entering the UK should I mark in my excel sheet absence period between the visa issues and physical entry in the UK.

Example: Visa was granted in 15 April 2017 but entered in the UK 1 st May 2017. So 16 days I should mark as absence ? Is that correct

The LIUK book has not changed since 2013. Use Goole to find websites that offer mock tests

Just one more question 5YRS ILR eligibility count from the day when the visa was issued until submitting the ILR application or until we have will be done ILR biometrics.

The date of application is the date you submit and pay online. It is not the biometric appointment date.

Just another question I have received an Employment Confirmation Letter it has mentioned my base salary but I do 15% to 20% ( around 25 to 35 hrs monthly) over time which is not in mention in the letter. But in my payslip, I have paid base salary and overtime.

Is there any issue with it? do I need to include the cover letter to explain this?

Include cover letter explaining why discrepancy between employer letter and payslip/bank statements.

SW 14.2. Salary does not include other pay and benefits, such as any of the following:
(a) pay which cannot be guaranteed because the nature of the job means that hours fluctuate; or
(b) additional pay such as shift, overtime or bonus pay, (whether or not it is guaranteed); or
...

You need to make sure the base salary is above the threshold.
