ILR - PBS Dependent Leave to Remain

Hi,

I came to the UK in Nov 2017 on PBS Dependent Leave to Enter visa (My husband was on Tier-2 (General) Leave to Remain). He got his ILR in January 2020 & I got an extension till January 2023 as PBS Dependent Leave to Remain. My husband got his Citizenship in 2021.

I am going to be applying for ILR in January 2023 & have a few questions:

1) Is Set(O) the correct application form in my case?
2) What English language test do I need to give as proof of English & with what passing marks?
3) When is the earliest I can apply?

Apologies if these have already been answered.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply.
I have a UK Naric certificate, would I still need to prove my English language?

Thanks.
The certificate states the equivalency in UK degrees but does not state English language requirements. Would that still be ok? (I wish I could upload it here but I am unable to do so)

If it was NARIC red route then it should be ok

I have just copied and pasted the content of the UK Naric Certificate and I have no idea whether it was done through Red Route.

I am not sure this is enough to prove the English language requirements.

ILR - PBS Dependent Leave to Remain

Hi,

I came to the UK on PBS Dependant - Leave to Enter visa which was valid from 16-Oct-2017 to 20-Jan-2020. Afterwards, I applied as a PBS Dependant - Partner & was given PBS Dependant - Leave to Remain visa from 29-Jan-2020 to 29-Jan-2023.

Could you please tell me what would be the earlier date that I can apply for my ILR based on the information above?
Also, would this date be the date I file the application online or the date that I have my appointment with UKVAS?

Many thanks in advance

You could have applied within 28 days before 16th October 2022 already, assuming the main pbs visa holder has ilr after 5 years or is applying at the same time as you.

The date of application is the date you submit and pay online. It is not the biometric appointment date.

Thank you so much.

For the question below:
What evidence will you provide to support the reasons for all absences from the UK and Crown Dependencies?

What evidence can I provide since I am on a dependent visa & have not had any proper employment?

There is no requirement to provide reasons for absences from the UK. Passport pages with stamps are enough

Has the Set(O) form recently changed?
I filled in a lot of information on 5th December but now I see a very different form!

We don't have sight of the online forms. If you see differences, you will need to state what they are.

As part of the documentation, it states the following:

"Declaration signed by (Husband's name) to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks"

Any idea what this is?
Does it refer to the family consent form? If yes, then which part of it as it has 3 parts?

Many thanks in advance

Yes. It is the consent form part 2. Ignore part 3

Please ask your citizenship questions in the British citizenship sub forum. These questions are not relevant in the ILR topic or sub forum.
