Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
I will appreciate it if my questions can be addressed. I had tier 2 general visa (main applicant) and tier 1 ET visa (main applicant). I got ILR in july 2021.

My wife was on tier 2 dependent visa and later she switch to tier 1 dependent visa. She will complete her 5 years of stay in UK in March 2023.

1) Can she combine the time towards ILR eligibility, she spent in UK as a dependent on Tier 2 and Tier 1 (ET) visas.

2) Can I apply for ilr for my kids separately once my wife has got ILR.

Thank you in advance.

1. Yes

2. Expect ukvi to query why they are not applying etc causing delays. Why do you not want to apply for them together? When do their visas expire? Were the children born abroad?

I was just not able to find it written anywhere that time on dependent Tier 2 and Tier 1 (ET) visas can be combined. So, I thought that I only apply for my wife first and if her ILR gets approved then I can apply for my children.
Their visas expire in Oct 2023 and yes they were born abroad.

Thank you again.
