ILR for wife and not for Son

Hello,

I’m a British citizen - my wife and son(born outside uk) will be eligible for ILR in May 23 via the 5 year settlement route however both their current family visa expires only in Sep 23.

Can I apply ILR (priority application) for wife in May 23 and not include my son in the ILR application ? The reason for the above query is once wife gets her ILR, I can immediately apply British citizenship for son with out taking his ILR and his current visa expires only in sep 23.

Thanks!
PB

5 day priority is not available for SET(M) ILR applications. You only have the option of Standard or Super Priority (£800) if available. You need to include the child in the application.

How long has your child lived in the UK? 5 years? Why do you believe your child does not require ILR and can apply directly for British Citizenship?
