Hello,
I am eligible for ILR this month ( december 2023 after completing 5 years in Tier 2 general visa ) - BRP expiring on 17-02-2024
My Spouse and 12 yr old daughter were on my dependent visa , until 02-07-2022 when my spouse moved to his own Tier 2 general visa and our daughter as his dependent. Validity on his BRP is until 31-12-2024 , and for our daughter the BRP was issued with same end date as mine ( 17-02-2024 )
Question : Can our daughter also apply for ILR along with me when I apply this deceember 2023 ? I understand my spouse will still need to wait for a couple more years for ILR

No she cannot. She will only qualify for ilr when your spouse does. The rules do not permit skilled worker dependent children to apply for ilr if both parents are not applying or one has ilr and the other is applying with the child
Once you have ilr and before her visa expires, you will need to apply for an extension.

Thanks for replying @CR001 , I shall apply an extension. But just out of curiosity, is there a reason why her BRP was issued with end date same as me instead of my husbands since they applied together as main and dependent on his new General visa

The immigrstion rules state children will be granted a visa with the same expiry date as the parent whose visa expires the earliest.
There was no need to change your daughter to your wifes dependent. She could have continued as your dependent and still applied for ilr when your spousr does

Hello, I am currently applying for ILR after completing 5 years on Tier 2 - Skilled worker visa.
Qn1 : for Details of your time spent outside the UK , should I specify my trips outside UK only during the past 5 years? ( I was my husbands dependent before applying for Tier 2 skiller worker visa, should any trips during this period also be mentioned? )
Qn2: I recently recieved an overspeeding ticket and since it was the 1st one I had received, qualified for speed awareness course which I attended. Should I mention the overspeeding ticket as a violation

5 years qualifying period only

You can mention it, but it has no effect on your character assessment.
