I sent my application on 12Feb by post, got letter that payment is decucted and application will be forwarded to case worker and it has been over almost a month but have not received any outcome.

my case is hsmp JR

anyone in the same baot ?

what is the processing time for you guys.

My ILR SET(m) Postal Application Timeline..

Sent: 25th March
Rec'd: 26th March
Payment Deducted: 30th March
Acknowledgement Letter: Awaiting..
Decision: Awaiting..

(I have seen a few threads on here where ILR SET(m) applications have been processed in around a month)..

My Application type is SET(M)

My Visa Expiry Date was: 31/01/2010
I sent my Application on 26/01/2010
They received my application on 28/01/2010
Got Ack Letter dated 29/01/2010
the waiting time has been as of now: 19 weeks
No Fee has been taken out of my a/c yet;


I'm still waiting for the decision, The thing is no Visa fee has been taken out of my account yet and its been almost 19 weeks and I'm still waiting for my decision. Whenever I call them they say 95% application are solved within 6 months but when I applied for the visa the waiting time was 12-16 weeks.But my biggest point of concern is why they have not taken the payment out of my account yet and why they are taking ages.

Any advice or help will be much appreciated.

I posted my husbands application on the 25th May its a Set M form

Application received: 26th May
Money taken out from account: 28th May
Acknow letter receievd : 1 week later.

Thought i'll jsut update you so i can track the application as i go along.

Wasim bhai I'm really concerned to see the poor progress of your application you ought to write a letter to UKBA. At least query why the payment has'nt gone through or check with your bank.

I did contact with HO but they said my application is in process but now when I spoke with the bank, they said yeah there was a payment which had been declined........................................Here come the negligence, Should my case worker not have informed me about paying though alternative methods but he did not. Well what I did, now I sent my covering letter with payment detail form again to HO lets see what they say.But it is clearly mentioned in the acknowledgement letter if there is any problem regarding processing the payment, The case worker would contact me but he did not?

Thought i'll let you all know that my husbands passport came back this morning with an ILR stamp on it. Can't beleive it that they processed it that quick didn't epect this speed at all. :D :D :)

mashallah, my tension is over now. I just pray for the rest of the friends waiting hope you all get a answer soon.

Timeline for my wife's ILR so far:

Fiancee visa December 2007
Arrived UK 27/12/07
Married 10/03/08
2 year FLR visa 16/04/08
Application SET(M) sent 25/03/10
Acknowledgement letter received 31/03/10
No fee yet taken
Still waiting...


This is a perfectly straightforward application.

Hey guys, after months of worrying my passport is finally here! thought my dates might be helpful

23rd March 2010- Application sent (previous visa expiring on the 25th March)
24th March 2010- The money went out of my account
25th March 2010- Got a letter of confirmation
19th Jun 2010- Passport stamped with ILR arrived (date of issue 16 Jun 2010)

hi All,
I submitted my application for ILR on the 21 of June, received my acknowledgement letter on the 23rd.
I have to travel on the 6th of September urgently and I cannot change this date as it is work related. now my dilemma is when should I call and request to withdraw my application. I have been reading on the forum some different information, some people saying that their passports was returned three days after request, others saying that their passports was returned 10 working days after.

what do you guys think, any advice will be really helpful, should I called on the 25t of august or should i leave it till the end of august, maybe i will receive it by then.
shall I call the home office and tell them about my urgent arrangement.

I need to mention that my ILR application is based on a marriage visa.

I have the same problem. Applied Set 0 2nd of Aug, payment deducted 4th of Augut, ack letter 5th of August. Have to travel urgently.. Ho wdo i do it? can i ccall them and ask to upgrade to a premium service?

finally applied for my ILR on 7th Jan my visa expires on 30th jan ... so less thn a month left

its SET M ... shadi wala chakar visa i mean

so m working and havin trouble from them cos got email from HR they wnt me to sort my visa out cos cant work on over stay status

how things work ?
