Hi ,

I am eligible for ILR next year ie on December 2011. I am the IT contracter and doing billing through my limited company.

I pay myself a minimal salary and receive the majority of my earnings as dividends.

So for earning when applying for ILR next year , would there a be a problem because of the low salary(ie 15k) and thereby the P60 etc showing a very small amoung ?

What is the recommended approach to follow in these cases .

WHAT income you have declared in tax return is imporatant

if yr tax returns r above reqired limit than u r fine

if you have just showm compamy accts and not paid taxes and not included dividend income in yr personal tax return than u r in trouble

check and sort it out accoriding to yr tax file yr status

under settlment it says
From April 2011:Skilled and highly skilled migrants will need to meet the salary criteria that applied when they last extended their permission to stay.


Means we still have to meet the mimimum salary requirements while applying for ILR in next year december.

Which essentially means that you are asking the questions a bit too early, for others to provide you with an accurate answer!
