Please can anyone help,

I have been on discretional leave to remain and my solicitor told me last when i comple 5 years i acn apply for ILR by self. Which i have done so this January. I did put all the credit card details ,notifie my back of the payment and had enough funds in my account. But the money wa never collected from my account, i keepet calling every friday HO and i was tol to wait 14 weeks to receive reply. I have sent letters to both HO AND payment department which never got any reply. the nexthing i receive last thursday all my documents with a letter saying the bank have declined the payment which is not true. I find it unfair as i have checked with bank no money have been tried to be debited since January. What i have now done is send a a chenque for £900 the some day and i was advised to fill another form as the previous was stamped. I just checked truck the the mail have been received on Friday. Can anyone out there bee of help or in a simiar situation/been. What can i do? Mad

you need to complete 6 years discretionary leave in order to be eligible for ILR.

Has the discretionary leave expired? If not, then:
1. Apply again, using a new form.
2. Pay though postal orders / banker's draft (safest options to pay fees).

How come you are eligible for settlement after 5 years of DL, when the requirement is 6 years?
