Hello guys,
I am on Tier 1 at the moment and qualifies to apply for ILR. But I have to combine two jobs to meet the qualifying income criteria. Will it be a problem? I earn around 25000 for my first job and rougly 14000 for my second job. Any advice on that would be much appreciated.

No problem at all. Make sure you have all the documentation. I used income from two sources for my ILR. (Self employment and PAYE).

hi all,
first of all happy to see this board which is helpful for all the immigrants..
i will also be in the same situation next year with the requirement of 2 incomes proofs to get my ILR.
unfortunately being hit my the recession, i have to take a low pay job which is 28k per anum.i think it mostly is sufficient for my income proof but i also did a long contract before joining this job where all the money is in company account. i am thinking to transfer some money as dividend in this accounting period for income proof but i am not sure how to show the 2 incomes.because i know if u r having ur own company , and if u wana show some salary and some dividend from the same company , i know it is possible and is legal but i dont know whether u can show ful time in one company and dividend from another company( in this case my own company) whether itis legal ? and how todo ?
any reply wud be greatful.
cheers
raja

Hi Guys,
I am also in similar boat as you...it would be really good if you can update on your progress on ILR.
My income is around 28K and need to apply for ILR in May'13. I am worried about recent statement by minister that 31K would be minimum salary required for ILR and hence thinking of finding a part time job for additional 3K.

Using two sources to meet income criteria is OK as long as you can produce enough evidence. You may produce the following evidences:
1. For PAYE - Salary slips, P60, Bank Statements or Income statement from HMRC etc.
2. For Ltd Co. / Contracting - Dividend Vouchers, Salary slips (if taking a combination of salary and dividend), P60, Business Bank Statemnts, Letter from Accountant (amounts must exactly match the bank statement), Self assessment tax certificate etc.
hope this helps.
