hello everyone,

I am approaching my 10 years period soon. I was looking at my visas then i came to know that i got my first entry clearance in 10-Dec-2001 and i came to UK in 02-Jan-2002.
so will my 10 years period be on 10-Dec-2011 or 02-Jan-2012 ? I know its only 23 days difference but these 23 days can be dangerous in terms of rules changes frequently.

thanks to all

i know my question can be stupid but i thought to ask anyway.

i got my all visas covered for 10 years but as i was looking at the dates on each visa (when it was issued) i found out that all of my visa got issued after the first one expires, now i certainly sure that i have been sending my passport well before the current visa expires but i don't have any post office receipts to prove that...now in this case what should i do ?

thanks
Apply for SAR records.

You're okay if convictions are spent.

thank you vinny,

i was looking up for the colleges in london that offers cheap courses, this one i found looks ok (http://www.lifeintheukcitizenshiptest.co.uk/) but on their description i read "With our ESOL Citizenship course, you do not have to do Life in the UK Test."

so is this true i dont need life the uk certificate ?

plus if someone knows any cheap colleges in london please do let me know.
ILR aint cheap :(

thank you all.
