All,

I will be applying ILR under Tier (1) category shortly and listed the document required. Please let me know if additional documents are required.

• Payslip for past 12 months ( incase of ecopy signed and stamped by HR)
  Letter from HR stating continous employement
  P60 for 2010-2011 (My 2009-2010 P60 was lost during Tier (1) general application process)
  Utility Bill for past 6 months ( Joint account name preferred)
  Bank statements for past 12 months
  Absence from UK on business supported by letter from HR
  Life in the UK certificates

What category were u on before Tier1?

Get all your P60s for last 5 years. those are often asked for. if you dont have those, call HMRC and ask for a letter with tax histroy. it usually takes 1-2 weeks for letter to arrive.

also as asked, what was your visa category before Tier 1. If it was WP, you should take HO letter that accompanied your WP application and as backup some additional proof (e.g. P60) of your employment with that company during WP (if different from current one).

August 2006 - July 2007 - Wp from 1st company
July 2007 - Dec 2007 - WP from 2nd company
Dec 2007- Dec 2009 HSMP
Jan 2010 - Jan 2013 - Tier 1.

I have HO confirmation letter for both HSMP and Tier 1. My previous company didnt give me confirmation letter for WP. Is it very essential?
