Hello everyone,
I have applied for my ILR under 10 years rule about 8 weeks ago. After long wait I received a letter from UKBA asking more documents,
In my application form I have included a covering letter mentioning that "After10 years, I feel very much settled and adapted to life in Britainwhich I now consider to be my home, where I live with my partner of 3years and where my social circle is based. "
Could anyone please tell me, does it sounds like that I have been living with him for 3 years? Simply I meant that I live with my partner OF 3 years, now UKBA asking documents evidence to show that we have been residing together for 3 years. We never thought we have to prove our relationship to anyone, as I'm already elgible for 10 years rule. So we didnt prepare for it. He is self sufficient didn't work for last 3 years, but before that he worked 6 years in UK and paid tax accordingly. He never used his official address with me so he has a different official address, we don't have any joint documents either, also where he stays with me is my shared accomodation is under my name, he also juggling between UK and Swiss because of me, but certainly he stays at my place when ever he is in UK, often atleast 7 days to 14 days per month. We don't have any documents what so ever addressd to the same address.
could anyone please tell me, how to approach UKBA now, with my situation. What documents I needed to show now and why?. I didnt mention in my covering letter he is an Europian National or any details about him. So now They also asks my partners original passportl. He worries if he might stuck here without passport for a long term. please tell me, all ur thought. I'm in really confused situation.
