Hi, My situation is WP + HSMP+ Tier1.

I already have been 5 years and 3 months if count from the first date of wp visa.

The reasion I did not go for IRL is that I am waiting my wife finishing her two year UK dependent visa and we can apply IRL together.

I made the appointment in March, which date should I fill in for the question above.

Should I fill in the issue date on my WP visa or the date 5 year before the date which I will go for IRL.

Would it be WP date of issue or the date of entry into the UK ???

Also if his qualifying period starts with HSMP date, then does he still need to use WP date as this would be the date he actually entered ...

could anyone give a confirmed answer.

My work permit visa start from 12/Jan/2007.
My current tier 1 visa would be expired n 18/08/2012.
My made appoint for ILR application on 15/Mar/2012.

which date should I filled in? Is it 12/Jan/2007 as my WP visa shows or 15/Mar/2007 which was the date 5 years before the application date??

As arsenal said....its the date of you entered the UK as a work permit holder...so if it was issued in Jan 2007 when did you enter the uk with ur work permit visa?

I got the WP inside of the UK.

before that I got student visa and first entered the uk on Aug 2004

As you switched in country ,enter the date of your wp visa issue which as you stated the 12rh of Jan 2007 is your start date of your qualifying period

I am in similer situation, I have already applied for ILR, Student Visa + HSMP+ Tier 1.

I didnt realise that I need to write my first date of HSMP issue date not the date when I entered in UK as student visa, slightly worried, would that be an issue ?

can I clarify UKBA about the error in filling out form ?
