sent EEA1 & EEA2 on 29June. Requested my wife's passport back on 9 July due to urgent work travel.
Called them today and they said request is received and being processed.

Our (re-submittal with extra eea1 evidence of being jobseeker) of eea1 and eea2 applications were received by ukba on 30 may. We have not heard from them.
I emailed them today asking for a response. I doubt they will reply soon so will start calling them this week.

Currently to a lot of applicants are not receiving their coa and not even eea1 registration card that is a open violation of eu law. If call them then different speaker present different stories after that musuem sound that they borrowed from t-mobile.

Absolutely right.
I called them one month before, and they said me that I have to wait 8 weeks to receive the COA.
10 weeks have passed, and they are saying that you have to wait because your application is under process

I sent my EEA2 application on 11 June and received COA on 19 June. Also, requested passports back on 13 June and had them back in under a week. So things seem to vary wildly from person to person.
In my case I have a visa issued under British rules that's good till autumn 2013 and easily renewable after that, so it almost seems like if you don't 'need' the EEA RC then you get it quickly, but if you really do need it then they take their sweet time about it. Strange system.
