See page 13-15 of Annexe A.

There appears to be increasing number of people being rejected for Residence Card or Registration certificate, on the basis that they have failed to provide adequate cover.

I have decided to post this link for the benefits of applicants applying with an European Health insurance card issued by a state other than the UK.

Needless to say, as is the case with many UKBA issued guidance, that this guidance is very restrictive, and not very EU compliant.

My purpose of posting is to guide prospective applicant how to comply with these requirement.

I will live the compliant aspect for another day.

Apart of that the analysis will also reveal the following unfairness taking place very often in now a days.

1. Enforcing funds limit on self sufficient applicants by not considering the fact that the funds they have can make them self sufficient even with low funds.

2. If EU national is a worker then when caseworker ring to employer and if employer cannot answer then they refuse application instead they need to write or fax them.
