What expenses are you referring to? And what is your current status in the UK?

Hi
I am actually on EEA Dependent VISA. my wife actually want to claim the expenses as they stop us for 4 hours at Calais and we missed our bus and then after I purchase tickets of ferry which cost me 74 Euro. and then we took a bus from Dover which cost me 32 pound + waste of our time and hassle that we face after these hours.
I hope you get my point.

I Didn't submit any thing here I submit my original Nadra marriage certificate to Italian embassy then after I got true copy of certificate from italian embassy. I am working for a pizza shop right now and trying to sort out my EEA FM resident card first then I will apply for jobs

You can try contacting
Solvit.
But personally, I see no grounds for getting your money back from UKV&I.
Under EU law, you have the right to accompany your EEA spouse into the UK, but it is not specified that it has to be within any timeframe. You haven't mentioned why they detained you for four hours at Calais. But I believe that they have the right (and the obligation) to verify your right to enter when you are reentering the UK.
The UK is not a part of the Schengen Zone and it has also opted out of the JHA (Justice and Home Affairs) pillar of the EU. So the EU has much less control about how the UK polices its borders as compared to other EU countries.

As regards this, life sucks. But you can't sue everybody any time they cause you "waste of time and hassle". Otherwise society would fall apart as living in society causes "waste of time and hassle".
When I was returning to the UK from France, the French Customs, for reasons best known to them, decided to go through the luggage of everybody onboard my coach, which was packed. So, that took a while as there were only two of them and about 70-80 of us. That took a lot of our time, but the way I see it, they had a job to do for the country and they did it, however much it inconvenienced me. I lost about four hours of sleep that night when I got in and I was working the next day. But I did not fuss about suing the French Douane. I got on with life.

3 rules to enter a country - applies to most if not all countries ...
1) Mere possession of a visa does not guarantee entry to a country.
2) You are still subject to the border controls and state security in place for punlic safety and which may be applied by the country you wish to enter.
3) If you have to be at a specific place at a specific time make allowances for the unexpected & plan ahead.

Hey Brother
Just out of curiosity do they stamp the passport with a rejection stamp which is visible if they deny yoou entry as in does it say on your passport visa denied/rejected or is it simply a stamp with a date?
