Are the application process and required documents for an EEA family permit and a residence card the same?
What is the likelihood of getting an EEA family permit but then being denied a residence card in UK?

Process is similar - apply by form. (Different forms).
Evidence required is similar. Proof of exercising of treaty rights by applicant (or their sponsor) is required for RC.
The likelihood is perhaps small but it can & does happen; search forum for such cases.
For example, if a sponsor cannot prove they're exercising treaty rights.
Or a relationship breaks down.

Why do you keep starting a new topic with every question you have. Please keep your questions in a single topic, preferably one where you are already receiving answers.
You have so many topics already with single questions.

I start a new topic when talking about a new topic. Sorry I'm new to this forum and am learning the ropes. Apologies for upsetting the apple cart!

If you are asking questions relating to the same application, keep all your questions in one topic please.

EEA Family Permit - valid until date

Two questions about the EEA Family Permit.
1.
On the EEA Family Permit vignette, is the "valid until" date:
- the date by which the holder must leave the UK
OR
- the date by which the holder must enter the UK
2.
Is the date that the holder enters the UK the date on which the count starts for their six-month stay period?
Thanks!
PS: Posting in a new topic because it doesn't fit under the subjects of my previous post topics.

1) Its the date the FP is valid until. Its no good to you after that date.
2) No. See #1
