In regards to your post..
i have applied for EEA3&4 together,,back in June 2010.. got my wife's PP back with PR this month and mine is still pending as an Non-EU Applicant.. So we have called HO to find out about it and they have advised that they are sorting EEA3 cases first cos these are prety straight forward..

Hi Guys,
I just read your posts. Same as you, I applied EEA3 & 4 with 2 children in August 2010 and received COA (just for my wife who is non EEA)after 2 weeks .There was case ID and ref number on it. Still waiting ...I'll update you.

This is an unacceptable response. The EEA4 application should be "pretty much straight forward" as well for the simple reason that the non-EEA national only has to show that s/he has resided with their EU/EEA/Swiss spouse in accordance with the EU regulations for 5 years - same supporting docs as the EEA3 application.

Hi mhasib
It’s seems you will have your PR soon, maybe next week. I applied for EEA3 &4 on 9 August 2010 and called HO today in the morning, but I wasn’t as lucky as you, they didn’t give me any update to my application. A lady on the phone told me that I have to wait within 6 months.
Hope all the best for you, please keep us update.
