Go to 2.5.2

If your child is under 18 and living in the UK with you, you would not be able to work, your child must have health insurance, you would not be able to be a burden on public funds and your child must be self sufficient, basically your child would need an income.

The ECIS say sufficient resources must be available but that it is not possible through work of the parent in the UK.

If the child doesn't have a income the parent needs one - without working.

Of course, but what would be an 'income' of a child?

An inheritance, support payments from an absent parent, a pension if a parent died and set that up, there are ways that children can have an income.
