No I did not. I didn't use Check & Send.

I used Check & Send when I was sending application for my son's passport (born in the UK but naturalized) and they asked me to include his grandparents details as well.

Hi Khurshid,
You had your interview a couple of days ago. How long did it take and where was it?
Can you tell me what is the process of getting interview appointment?
I think when I get the interview letter I should call one number and I can choose from list of dates and places, is it right?

It went OK. Took about 30 mins in total(security to end of interview). Mine was in Glasgow.
You normally receive an interview letter which tells you the number to call to make an appointment.
When you phone that number and have confirmed all your details. They'll tell you about venue for interview and check available slots. I received my letter on Thursday and got an appointment for Friday afternoon. Morning appointments were available as well but I chose evening one as that suited better. Called a couple times on Adviceline number and found them extremely informative and helpful. They provided me with the complete timeline on my application - exact time received, entered on the system, examined, and even when the interview letter was issued. All of this was provided before I ever had the letter in hand. I am impressed with their customer service.

Fingers crossed interview will go without a hitch... Can't wait until I have my sparkling new British passport!

They should have given you a reference number. Check the receipt they gave you
