Hi everyone on this forum. I sent an email earlier today on 17/03/14 to HO (nationalityhelpdesk@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk) asking status of my application and they replied the same day:

"I have checked our records and can confirm a decision has been made on this application, the decision letter and any supporting documents will be with you shortly".

What does this mean? Does it mean its an approval? I applied on 16/01/2014 using NCS

Thats been very quick,applied on 20th Jan and fee was deducted on 31st Jan ( 11 days not bad )

@midbar: put your full name, date of birth, HO reference, address. This way they will check and reply.

HO also emailed me (additional email sent by them today) when i asked when the decision was made and when the documents were despatched.
Decision date 06 March and documents despatch date 14 March.

Fingers crossed, hope its a 'Yes' decision, as my case was pretty straight forward.

I just read ur post. I dont trust these first line customer services because they dont have full access but still it is a quite worrying situation because God for bid what if he is really telling u the truth then it is very disappointing situation.

Called leeds council to arrange for the ceremony- next available date is 15 may. Asked for private ceremony- they took my number and said they would contact me in the next 10 working days!!!!!!! I am ready to pay money and still they don't seem too interested

I just noticed that 9th March is sunday! that means Home office is working on weekends to clear the applications including any backlogs...well then soon most of the applicants can expect good news.

52 Approvals out of 107(Based on fee debit update).

Almost 50% approved, but I am not sure why they are not processing any applications after 27 Jan. All the approvals until now are for applications received on or before 24th Jan.

Hi All!

There is no doubt, this forum is such a helpful resource for all the applicants but this is still lacking with one massive information and that is contact date to referee.

I think administrator of this forum should add this point in thread timeline questionnaire so then everybody can enter the date whenever their referees are being contacted by HO so we all will get an idea that how much time usually HO takes to process the application after contacting the referees or in other words once HO gets the feedback from the referees then how long they take.

I hope who ever runs this thread or forum will consider my suggestion. Thanks

Rang today and I was told my application is in the cue to be received by case worker. I applied on January 28th.

After seing approvals coming for those applied at same time frame as I did; it forced me to finally call the HO and enquire about the status.
Called them twice today and the same answer provided stating 'Application Not Yet Complete'
When I asked how much time they said maximum waiting is 6 months and for me its only been 2 month ..so another 4 months.

I had to call over 20 times on 0300 number before I got through. Have you tried emailing them?

i applied on 23rd Jan, HO rec'd on 24th Jan, fees deducted on 2nd Feb.
no approvals rec'd as of today

i feel dishearted now because i needed to go out for a business trip and i am just waiting
