Yes, it is 5 years before a spouse of British citizen can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain and then British citizenship for themselves.Thanks but does this apply for a spouse of British Citizen?

The rules changed in July 2012 from 2 years qualify period to 5 years qualifying period.
