Unbelievable! If passport office needed these details, why didn't they ask for it when the application was submitted? The whole point of the online system was to make sure people fill in the correct part of the form.malafat wrote:Got a letter from PO with a new form asking me to fill in my parents' details.

To get things speed up
Fill in a normal paper application form, get the same person sign it for you and wait until PO sends you the letter.
You will need a ref number for correspondence, so once you get it just stick it and turn around.
This is best we can do
Hope they will consider this technical problem and review our application fairly soon.
I am posting them back today-the letter was dated yesterday so not too bad
and the rest of ppl. please avoid the online system
Mate you should have write a cover letter to clarify that , it was not your fault , in their online form there are not any potion to insert parents details.. by the way hope for the best let see what happen with kenmalafat wrote:I can't log in as I didn't write the password/username down.
But to give you an idea;
They started processing my application on Mar 26
The letter was dated Apr 8
So roughly it took them 2 weeks to realize that the parents' details were missing.
Also you will see when the letter comes, they were not apologetic at all nor admitting their fault but rather telling me that I forgot to input these details!
not yet mate, still waitingshabz_81 wrote:Anyone have any updates to their online applications ?

Called HMPO 3 times, twice to try to book appointments, both times they couldn't find my application/reference number. The third to try to enquire what is going on with my application - again, they couldn't find it.dial2all wrote:Congratulations! very happy to hear that you have received interview letter. please contact with HMPO and ask them regarding your reference number. could you please check your online status what is it showing now?ken218 wrote:Nope, They never asked for that.malafat wrote: Hi Ken, You haven't provided parents details right?
